AEO questions

Is AEO different from classic SEO?

Overlapping, but distinct. SEO targets blue-link rankings in Google/Bing. AEO targets being cited in AI answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews). The optimisation patterns are different — AI prefers explicit Q-A, schema, and answer-first content.

Will AEO hurt my classic SEO?

No — well-structured Q-A content with FAQ schema also wins featured snippets and People-Also-Ask boxes in Google. AEO and classic SEO compound rather than conflict.

When will I appear in ChatGPT?

Citation timing varies. Established sites with decent authority see first citations in 2-4 weeks. New domains take longer. The citation tracker reports weekly so you see the trajectory.
